Do you take cases for both the defense and the prosecution?

Yes. Dr. Schneider takes cases just about evenly for both sides.

Are you licensed and in good standing?

Yes. Dr. Schneider is a licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in forensic psychology. She is in good standing and has never had any disciplinary issues.

Do you conduct services in other states?

  1. a. Yes. Dr. Schneider is part of Psypact, an organization that states can participate in to recognize licensure in psychology. At this time, 39 states participate in Psypact and recognize reciprocal licensure with Colorado.
  2. b. If a state does not participate in Psycpact, Dr. Schneider can obtain a temporary license to practice in your state.

Are you board certified in forensic psychology?

Yes. Dr. Schneider is one of a small number of psychologists in the United States who is board certified by the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP).

How do I go about retaining your services?

    1. a. If you are an individual with a civil or criminal matter you’d like to discuss, please have your attorney contact Dr. Schneider.
    2. b. If you are an attorney, feel free to email or call and Dr. Schneider will get back to you promptly.
    3. c. Following a discussion to determine fit, a retainer agreement will be submitted.

    1. a. Fees can be discussed following an initial consultation.
    2. b. Fees may vary based on the amount of discovery, the complexity of the case, and any travel involved.
    3. c. Military courts martial are billed differently.

Are you published?

    1. a. Dr. Schneider has published a variety of articles in peer reviewed journals.
    2. b. She co-authored a book published by Routledge in 2022.

Do you have specialized training in forensic psychology?

    1. a. Yes. While many psychologists refer to themselves as forensic, most do not have the proper specialized training.
    2. b. Dr. Schneider completed a highly competitive and nationally recognized postdoctoral fellowship exclusively in forensic psychology.
    3. c. Her board certification is in forensic psychology specifically.

Dr. Schneider provides consultation before and during trial. From drafting voir dire questions to jury selection, opening statements to direct and cross examination preparation, motions to closing arguments, Dr. Schneider brings her experience and expertise to every stage of trial.
